{August Releases}

Wow, I can't believe it's already August! It still feels as though the year had just started, but now there are only five months left to it. I have to apologize for all of my infrequent posting lately - so much has been going on in my life that I really haven't had time to make any decent posts. Plus, I'm back to job-hunting again, as I am no longer in Nevada, but back home in Texas (finally!). Let me tell you, it is not a good time to be unemployed. But here's hoping - wish me luck! In the meantime, I thought I'd share some of the August book releases that I'm looking forward to the most:

I think I'm most curious to read Relic, as the plot sounds very intriguing - people make a living extracting magic from the bones of long-extinct magical creatures, and then they either sell that magic or harness its power for their own use. I hope it's as good as it sounds! So far, the reviews look promising (29 five-star reviews out of 39 ratings on Goodreads!)

{June Releases}

I always look forward to learning about upcoming releases in the book world, and this month is no exception - so many good books are going to be released in these next few weeks, that I don't know how I'll ever get around to reading them all. Here are the ones that I'm looking forward to the most:

I think that what I like most about this month's releases is that they seem to be so different from each other. I get really annoyed when there are books that are released around the same time that have such similar plots to each other. This month, I was able to find that many of the books being released have really interesting story-lines. I think I'm most looking forward to reading Ink - mainly because it takes place in Japan. I really have a love for YA novels that take place in different countries. 

{February Releases}

Okay, so it's the beginning of a new month, and a new month means new releases in the book world! There are a lot of books coming out this month, but the following are the releases that I have been looking forward to the most:

That's a lot added to my never-ending TBR list! I think I am most excited for Scarlet and Etiquette & Espionage, but all of these sound so good! Are any of these books on your TBR list? What other February releases are you looking forward to? Please feel free to share your picks in the comments!

{January Releases} Happy New Year!!!

I hope you all had a great time ringing in the new year! I figured what better way to bring in the new year than by taking a look at some of the great new releases for this month. If you've noticed, there is a new tab beneath my header for my 2013 reading challenges. Since I have only started blogging last year, this will be my first time participating in some of the yearly challenges I've seen around the blogosphere. I've decided that this year I will start out each month by looking at that particular month's releases, as it will help me choose what books to read for my challenges, and may help you out as well. So, without further ado, here are what I found to be some of the most interesting new releases for January 2013:
